The discovery disappointed me, especially as I was going over there to post the Ottawa Archdiocese's press release about our reception into the Catholic Church. Thankfully, Fr. Anthony has saved the archive and will be sending at least my contribution to me, though given my level of technical ability and my lack of time, the material is not likely to make its way back onto the 'net. And that's a shame, because much of what we wrote is part of the history of this new venture, this new Ordinariate structure that our parish will be among the North American pioneers in colonizing.
So instead of the writing that I had planned to do today, I set up a new blog on Wordpress that has allowed me to post about Sunday's events with a better presentation for the photos than I can figure out for this blog. Wordpress also allows me to do a few things that I haven't figured out how to do with this blog, such as put on buttons to share on Facebook and Twitter and other things that can drive traffic to the blog.
I am calling my new blog Foolishness to the World.
I have already posted many "foolish" things on that blog, so go on over and take a look.
It has had more than 250 views since I created it earlier today.
Another benefit of Foolishness is that it is included now in the constantly updating blog roll over at the Society of Canadian Catholic Bloggers,
Over at SCCB, host Colin Kerr writes:
My Friend, Deborah!I suppose it's big news when the news-bringer becomes the news. I mentioned yesterday about Deborah Gyapong's post re. the entrance of some Traditional Anglicans into full communion with St. Peter. What I did not mention is that she is one of them. And we can mark this great event with the listing of her new blog on our SCCB blog roll. So, welcome Deborah's Foolishness to the World - and our prayers are with you on Sunday!I won't abandon this blog, and I'll remind you if there are new posts over at Foolishness to the World.
