Some glorious photos of the English Ordinariate's first anniversary

I share some of my reflections over at The English Catholic:

Do we just go in the way one of our parishes has, without a priest and without any guarantee any of our shepherds can even become deacons, trusting the local diocese will provide us with a priest to do a Book of Divine Worship Mass for us once a week?   Will that priest be willing as well to look after our many shut-ins?  I doubt it.  Our elderly and frail members could end up losing the personal touch that our parish has offered.  There are lots of things to consider. I am not inviting people to tell us what to do, but to pray for us. This is anguishing.  We have a wonderful Roman Catholic archbishop here in Ottawa, and I am sure he would do a lot to help us out whatever we decide, but he could be moved elsewhere tomorrow.
Oh, and please do not tell us, well, you could have EMHCs as someone in the comments section over there did.  That would really take some getting used to for our people.
